Cue the Barry White again…

I moved the 2022 hunting camera to a position I thought might be useful for fledging. Clearly it needs to be a little adjusted, but this is what it caught yesterday. I was so obsessed with their adult activities in 2022 because I was worried that they hadn’t managed to make an egg, and this year when I haven’t seen them copulate in the last month or so, I thought maybe they were just a year older and realized they didn’t need to keep doing this once they had a clutch. But here we have this little clip. So now I’m back to my theory that this is just a very sex-positive pair of owls!
