I have some great footage from yesterday but I don’t have the patience to edit it right now, so here is a collection of stills. And, okay, one tiny clip of Shaggy booking it up a tree when he realized at about 7pm that his nest days were over but also he wasn’t in a very good overnighting position. I can’t find either of them this morning — yet! — although Daphne is roosted over our air conditioner hunting for chipmunks. And the rule is, if the parents aren’t panicking, I don’t panic. In theory. Probably. Anyway, here’s a summary of yesterday, and we’ll edit the footage over the next sad weeks when I no longer have new stuff to share!!
