And here’s tonight’s second video, which is from just last night. I was hoping I’d get to see dinner delivered, so I had a camera pointed at one of the owlets but I had walked away a bit to see if I could find the adults. Then I saw an adult arrive out of the corner of my eye, and I rushed over to the camera to make sure I was centered and zoomed properly… and discovered that the adult owl I’d seen fly in with purpose and confidence was actually a baby owl. Because they can really decide to change locations and then implement those decisions. The only thing they need to work on is distance, and that’ll happen all too soon!
