So the last two weeks have been… whew. I have loved the enthusiasm — especially the in-person enthusiasm! — from y’all and I need it, because holy Strigiformes Batman do I have a lot of footage. And I am overwhelmed by questions of how to edit it, and whether most of it is even worth sharing, because it isn’t great because I am not a videographer, just a loony with a camera.
ANYWAY today I am going to share two videos. This one is from four days ago, the day my owl posse decided we were seeing moves “closer to flying than flappity-hopping.” I just want newcomers to understand what I’ve been watching in the evenings, which is hard to film and often hard to even SEE, but which is good for our girls and their progress as tiny owls.
